Alani has been with Les Mills as a Presenter and Trainer for many years. He was BODYPUMP™ Program Assistant for the production of release number 57 and 58 and responsible for sourcing music, developing choreography and education material and presenting on DVD. Alani was pivotal in re-launching the US agency and has been invited back as an International Master Trainer to work with their team.

Alani has extensive experience in other facets of the Fitness Industry. He has worked in Management as a Cluster Personal Training Manager in Sydney for Fitness First and currently works in trainer development for Personal Trainers.

Alani's other interests include Downhill Mountain Biking and Golf.


Alani will be presenting the BODYCOMBAT instructor training course on March 28,29,30 and will also present some exclusive BODYCOMBAT preview masterclasses for members and guests!

Kitty is an Egyptian Raqs Sharqi (classical Belly Dance) specialist known for her clean and thorough technique and her passion in teaching and preserving the true essence of this ancient but evolving art form. Her choreography is original, beautiful and challenging, and her performances fiery, charismatic and engaging.

She has been teaching and performing in Hong Kong since 1996. She attracts the most students who want to learn the genuine article in Hong Kong. Her class are intensive, fun and most of all, inspiring.

Kitty is the protégé of Mr. Yousry Sharif of Cairo and New York, a Guru know worldwide when it comes to Egyptian Belly Dance. She dances in leading hotels, restaurants and country clubs by appointment

Recently Kitty was hired by “Cirque du Soleil” to train its Quidam performers and artists on her specialty during their seven- week tour to Hong Kong. She was also invited to be the sole Belly Dancer on the Egyptian scene on Faust’s Around the World in 80 Days musical in March 2006, a near sold out extravaganza which critics said” delights and entertains like any West End and Broadway Production”

Three times per year Kitty has her sabbatical training in Cairo and New York. She tours around South East Asia for workshops. She is frequently featured in TV documentaries, newspaper articles and lifestyle magazine stories.
 

George Dovas

George Dovas has been in the health and fitness game for more than adecade. A former sports aerobics medallist, he now focuses his energy onsharing the benefits of exercise and good health with the wider community. He started his career in health & fitness in Sydney, Australia. In1991 he was invited to Hong Kong to work for the global chain, “Fitness First”who were setting up their first clubs in Asia.


He continues to be based in HongKong working for Fitness First as a manager, instructor and regional freestyletrainer. His area of expertise is in teaching step and hi-lo in a fun andlogical way that enables all participants to enjoy the creativity andchallenges of freestyle classes.

A Nike sponsored athlete, he is recognized as a leader in his field andfeatures regularly as a presenter at fitness conventions around the world. Hehas presented at:

·      Asiafit

·      Fitness China, and other fitness conventions aroundthe globe.

 

He is a BODYBALANCE trainer andBODYJAM presenter for “Les Mills Asia Pacific”. He is also a lecturer for the“Asian Academy for Sports and Fitness Professionals”.

 

More recently George has completed athree year Iyengar yoga training program which has included travels to Indiaand North America. He is certified with an Introductory Level 2 Iyengar YogaCertification and is currently working towards his Junior Intermediate 1certificate.

 

A willingness to share what he haslearnt from more than a decade of delivering amazing classes and his “down toearth” style are what make George’s sessions inspirational and enlightening.

Theresa Merz

Theresa is YogaFit’s International Trainer, speaks three languages and has taught a variety of people from 4 to 90 from many different cultures. She has been in the fitness industry for 20+ years and has practiced yoga on and off since 1981. While studying engineering, she discovered yoga was the perfect escape for the goal oriented behavior of a woman engineer. A graduate from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, she decided to focus on human body movement at a Masters level. Theresa is an ACE/AFAA continuing education provider, and certified in group fitness, personal training, Pilates, YogaFit®, RYT, Medical Exercise Specialist, Master Water Fitness Instructor, and Older Adult Trainer.

Theresa will present Yogafit teacher training level 1 and 2 and will also teach two exclusive classes for members and guests.

 


Peter Scott
Senior Intermediate 2 Iyengar Yoga Teacher

Peter Scott is one of Australia's pre-eminent Iyengar Yoga practitioners and teachers, having devoted 30 years to the art and science of yoga since beginning practice in 1977.  Peter is a Senior Intermediate level 2 teacher of Iyengar Yoga, certificated directly from Yogacharya BKS Iyengar.  Peter began teaching in 1982 and in 1987 founded the one of Melbourne’s first Iyengar Yoga centres’ the ‘Rathdowne Yoga Room’ in North Carlton - where many of Melbourne’s current Iyengar Yoga teachers trained.
